Weekly Update

My first week back at the Chaplain School was centered around us learning a program to help families. Families are the heart of society. As the family goes so does society. As families are built up, so is society. In order to help military families, we were taught a program called Family Wellness. The program centers around teaching people how to communicate and tackle the problems of modern living. www.familywellness.com is the website to find out more about this program. While it was not explicitly religious, they do have Bible-based materials. Personally, it gave me a lot of resources that I can use with kids in school, couples in marriage prep and counseling, and in my personal life. Other than that, the week was full of doing so many pushups that I can barely lift my arms and getting to know my fellow chaplains better. Continue to pray for me, my fellow chaplains, the members of my unit as we prepare to go to Iraq, and all those who serve in our military along with their families.
