Faith from Far Away

Here are some more photos from Mepkin. Both are from the chapel. One is their statue of Mary with Jesus in her arms and the other is the Crucifix.

I have been spending my whole summer getting ready physically and intellectually to go to Iraq. Mepkin was a great opportunity to get more spiritually ready to go. The theme of the last two days for me is, "Do not be afraid. I am with you"
