Graduation from the Chaplain School
On September 8th, after spending a total of 12 weeks spread out over two summers, I graduated from the Army Chaplain School at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. It was great to graduate, but with leaving for Iraq a couple days later, I was more excited to see my parents who came down for the celebration. One picture is of me and my parents. The other is one of all the Catholics in my class (a transitional deacon and three priests) as well as Fr. Kenehan who works at the Chaplain School. The priest right next to me is Fr. Panzer from Lincoln, Nebraska. It was nice to have another priest from Nebraska there. Plus, I have several relatives that go to his church in Lincoln.
