Faith from Far Away

I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Even though I can't be there with you this day, know that I am grateful to God for your presence in my life. Below I have included a famous Prayer of Gratitude by St. Richard of Chichester (1198-1253). You may recognize it as a prayer that was hilariously imitated in Meet the Parents. Thank you, Lord Jesus Christ, for all the benefits and blessings which you have given me, for all the pains and insults which you have borne for me. Merciful Friend, Brother and Redeemer, may I know you more clearly, love you more dearly, and follow you more nearly, day by day.
